This commitment that you are making to yourself is not the easiestone to keep. It will require you to take stock regularly as you grow inexperience and make changes and adjustments.

A good thing to remember is to always stay positive with yourself.Making a mistake is a good thing because this is how you learn. No one everlearns from complacency - one only learns from strife and that is usuallyspelled "mistake".

Always be precise so that you can be clear about what you aredoing. Keep good records. Being sloppy with your record-keeping will not allowyou to be able to track your progress.

Make a schedule for yourself and set priorities. This is going tobe a necessity, so that you do not get overwhelmed with details. Starting abusiness is filled with enormous amounts of detail and you must consider thisreality.

Are your goals realistic ones? This is another question to ask ofyourself.

ACHIEVING A GOAL

When you have achieved a goal - reward yourself accordingly. Thisis what will build your self-confidence. This is also the time to take a reviewof your goals. Were they too easy to achieve? If so, make them a bit harder. Ifthey took way too long - much longer than you anticipated - make the next goalsa little easier. If you learned something that would want you to change othergoals, then do so. Learning is good. If you found something particularlydifficult to do, then maybe you need to have some schooling to learn a newprocess. Take care of it.

Everything you learn is a priceless jewel. Just feed all of thisinformation back into your goal setting process and make it work for you.

SMART

There is a measure used in business to decide ifsomething is good to do. We ask if the action or decision is SMART.

Specific - Measurable -Attainable - Relevant - Time-Bound

This is a good way to look at yourself and yourgoals. If your goals are SMART ones then your venture will be a SUCCESS.
